Connerton Photography Introduces Portrait Parties/Playdates!
Kathleen Connerton is a mother of three small children and an on location portrait
photographer in Rhode Island. While specializing in child and family lifestyle
portraiture, Kathleen realizes that the $200 investment for this experience is a
luxury in today's economy. Thus, Connerton Photography is excited to launch
"Portrait Parties" and "Portrait Playdates" as the 2010 Photography Portrait
Promotions.
While these events are not custom portrait sessions, Portrait Parties and Portrait
Playdates are composed of mini sessions... where families (or children individually)
are photographed casually for 20 minute intervals. There is no session fee when 4
families commit to attend (although purchase of a photo package is required. The
Party/Playdate Portrait Packages begin @ $40.) Both events are organized by a
"Party Hostess" who determines place and time, manages the guest list... and
earns photo credits based on sales! (Portrait Parties are traditional mini sessions
and Playdates are more casual, having multiple families on location at one time...)
How it works: Each family who plans to attend an event purchases a Portrait
Package and submits payment and registration prior to the event. Every member of
the (Portrait Party) receives a personal appointment (20 minutes of photography)
and 10-25 images from the session in a password protected gallery @
www.connertonphotography.com. Images are immediately available for purchase
(or to fulfill the Portrait Package chosen at booking.) Playdate attendee's all come
at one time and photography is on a candid basis, resulting in one gallery
containing the best images from the event.
Both Portrait Parties and Portrait Playdate's are available exclusively on weekdays April through June. They are especially great for capturing the memories of Playgroup, Family Gatherings "Mommy and Me" portraits, individual portraits etc. Portrait Parties are an excellent option for young families looking for the family portrait and a few shots of each child! All images are shot on location via natural light, and digitally handcrafted prior to gallery launch.
