Family Fun Night at the Krupowicz Planetarium
Monday, July 6th, 7:00PM at Gaudet Middle School, Middletown
Grades 1-4. Registration Required.
What is in the Sky Tonight? The Mystery of Black Holes. Discover the strangest objects in the Universe, black holes. How do they defy the known laws of physics? Doors open at 6:30pm.
$3.00 per person/$2.00 children under 8 (no one under age 4)
No reservations – first come, first serve Seating Capacity – 60 people

Eastern Rhode Island 4-H Country Fair
Saturday July 18 and Sunday July 19th at Glen Park, Glen Rd off Rt. 138 - Portsmouth
An old fashioned country fair filled with fun for all ages.  Activities include a horse show, cow shows, children's games, crafters, tractor pulls,  pony rides, ice cream eating contest, chicken BBQ, silent auction, and more. Entertainment includes the Toe Jam Puppet Band and the Town Howlers Square Dancers.  $1 donation requested.   Check out the 4H website schedule of events.

Middletown Education Collaborative's (MEC) Annual Duck Duck Race
Sunday, July 19th at Third Beach
Proceeds from the Duck Duck Race are used to support enrichment activities for all Middletown Schools.

Newport Art Museum's PM Musical Picnic
Wednesday, July 29th, 6PM at 76 Bellevue Ave

Once-monthly concerts on the grounds of the Museum's Griswold House.
Featuring: Chelley, Bill and Dyl
Pack a picnic to enjoy on the lawn. No pets. Concerts begin at 6PM.
Members Individual $5, Household $10
Non-members $10, Non-member households $15.
